Gemma's journey with Jo Hansford began at just 16, when she joined the salon as a junior. Over the past 25 years, she has grown with the business to become one of its most influential and respected figures — a true pillar of the Jo Hansford team.

Now recognised as Jo's trusted second in command, Gemma plays a pivotal role not only in the day-to-day running of the salon, but in safeguarding its future. She leads the renowned Jo Hansford training programme, where she is instrumental in developing the next generation of colourists.

Through her mentorship, she passes on an exceptional depth of technical knowledge, a meticulous eye for detail and the signature standards that define the salon.

Alongside her leadership responsibilities, Gemma maintains a consistently full and loyal client column. Known for delivering beautifully tailored, natural-looking results with precision and care, she remains an integral force at the heart of Jo Hansford.

Gemma is available in the salon Tuesday to Saturday.
