She is known as much for her expertise in colouring and business acumen as she is for the high profile clientele who wouldn’t trust their tresses to anyone else. With a team of over 90 staff across 3 locations, she has developed
her business to be an epicentre for some of the most talented and innovative stylists and technicians in the UK.

In November 2010, Jo was recognised for her dedication with an MBE foroutstanding service to the hairdressing industry. Over the years with the help of her daughter and Managing Director of the company, Joanna Hansford, she has received a number of honours.

These include the Financial Mail Enterprise Award for Sales and Marketing, ‘Best Hair Salon in Mayfair’, presented by the Mayfair Awards, runner up in the Global Salon Business Awards and a London Lifestyle Award.
